Bar apps for playbook download
xsacha of Sachesi fame has just published an interesting new online service called Bar Download. It allows you to download free apps from Black Berry World straight from any browser. Browse Black Berry World until you find the app you want to download Copy the address you see in the browser ( URL field) Paste the address in the “ Application ID” field on the Bar Download page Click Submit and you will be presented with a link Click on the link to download the file and make sure you rename it so that the extension is.bar. You browser will want to download it as a.txt or.zip file. That’s it, you will now have a bar file which you can quickly install on all your devices via a tool such as Sachesi or DBBT. A couple of important notes The Authorization field has to be left empty for now, until xsacha finds a way for you to generate your own. That means you’re using his BBID to download apps. You’re not allowed to redistribute the bar files that you download. Checkout xsacha’s post for more information.

Dropbox for Black Berry Play Book Dropbox, perhaps the most popular and widely used cloud storage service, is now available for the Black Berry Play Book or at least the Android version can be sideloaded. Upload various file types, including documents, images and video, to your Dropbox, and download files already stored in the cloud via Black Berry tablet. The Android app runs very smoothly on the Play Book, and I haven't come across any compatibility issues at all. Download the.bar file for Dropbox here.
