Hpi rs4 mt manual

System Requirements: Windows 8, Windows 7, Windows 8.1

HPI Nitro RS4-2 ( Belt Driven ) I recently was digging around in the shop at work and found a box containing most of the pieces of an old HPI Nitro RS4-2 car. Almost all the car is there except the radio transmitter, and a few screws, how ever the engine is locked slam up and torn apart. Not a real big deal since the.15 FE was junk to begin with. I was planning on putting a half decent.15-.18 engine and a basic radio set in the car, throwing a body on it and having fun, I mean I have nothing invested in the car right now so I wont mind spending a little bit of money on it. Now I know this car is old and may not seem worth fixing to some of you, but this thing was abused like no tommorrow by its previous owner from what I can tell and I kinda want to get it back into its former glory. I used to mess around with the RS4's when they were still the newest and greatest thing and I'm pretty used to being able to go anywhere to find parts. Now it seems like everything has been discontinued, which is no real surprise to me, but is making finding basic parts difficult at best. I'm wanted to know where I can get parts for this old car from. Basically I'm looking for all the belts, a new front bumper plate, body mounts for the front and rear, and prolly some other random little bits that I'm sure I'll find when I tear the car all the way down. Are there any companies that still offer hop-up parts for these old cars? Any help in getting this old car going again would be greatly appreciated. RE: HPI Nitro RS4-2 ( Belt Driven ) Luck, I'm a fan of those cars and just completed a re-build of my old Nitro RS4 2. The parts you need are still around, get your hands on a manual and order the stuff from your LHS. Also dig around in the LHS's old stock, you will be surprized at what you'll find. HPI has newer engines that will really bring that car to life. I had many fun times racing.

The RS4 MT carves out a completely new niche in the Off- Road market. The massive traction og the ON- Road RS4 cars is well known. So, the HPI engineers put on their thinking caps to come up with a big truck that can handle slippery terrain with ease! The RS4 MT is packed with features like an efficient dual-belt drive 4 WD system, traction control clutch, maintenance-free geared diffs, high volume oil-filled coil over shocks, stick or saddle pack battery positions, a belt tensioner, polycarbonate inner body and a carbon fibre spur gear. The chassis, suspension arms and rear shock tower are all fibre-reinforced for extra durability. And the ride height is easily adjustable from on-road to off-road by moving a few screws. Off- Road jumps are really fun to take with this truck! A few Quick adjustments convert the MT to a lowered street truck with great handling. Specification may be subject to change.
Buying a used HPI RS4- MT Electric Truck, or any used RC Model, has a number of advantages. It is generally cheaper than new, ready built and may come with a variety of expensive hop-ups already installed. Cheap, pre-loved bargains are always becoming available. However, depending on the age of your purchase, it may need a little tender loving care before you can take it out on the back yard.   The one thing you will always need is an instruction manual. If not supplied with your purchase they can often be downloaded from the HPI website, or purchased separately on e Bay. With an instruction manual, any problems with your model Truck you may discover can easily be fixed.   When you receive your used HPI Truck, make a general visual inspection of the chassis, front and rear wishbones, suspension shock towers etc, for anything broken that may need to be replaced. Then, take a screwdriver and box spanner and check each self tapping screw and nut for security, taking care not to over tighten. Next, for those HPI models with oil filled shock absorbers, remove them from the chassis and dismantle the coil springs. The damper shafts should push in and pull out with a smooth action. If you feel a jolt as you change direction, this means the oil has leaked out and must be topped up. At the same time, change the O- Ring seals to prevent more leakage. Also check the damper shafts for damage. If they are scratched, change them as soon as possible.   If the body shell of your HPI RS4- MT is broken, ripped or damaged in any way, this can be easily repaired with rubber solution glue. Also, for added protection and if available for your RS4- MT model, fit an under guard to stop dirt and gravel entering the chassis.   Examine the drive shafts for wear and replace as required. If possible, change them for titanium. The steel shafts wear and bend too easily.   If you intend to race.
The Nitro MT features HPI's first full-time shaft-driven drivetrain, a durable purple anodized counter-sunk chassis, a powerful pull-start nitro engine, a detachable radio tray for easy maintenance and cleaning, a complete set of ball bearings and a molded tuned pipe for massive speed. And that's not all, the Nitro MT comes equiped with front/rear gear diffs, long-stroke oil-filled shocks, extra wide suspension arms for increased stability, Dirt Hawg tyres on chrome MT Mesh wheels. For Ground Pounding Excitement give the Nitro MT a try! Specification may be subject to change.
